Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering angle regulating device whose knuckle stopper is equipped with an enhanced durability.
SOLUTION: A knuckle spindle 4 is formed from an iron base metal, while a suspension arm 2 is made of an aluminum base metal, and a knuckle stopper 1 is formed from iron base metal material separately from the suspension arm 2. In the slide contacting part of the stopper 1 and spindle 4, two members having the same hardness are in slide contact, which can suppress deterioration with time where the wear of the two members progresses, and the max. steering angle characteristics of the wheel given in the initial period can be maintained.
