Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for readjustment of an inclination attitude and height of a handle when the handle is pushed down while maintaining the inclination attitude and height and is recovered to the original position in a steering column device having a tilt function, a telescopic function, and a retreat function.SOLUTION: A steering column device has a tilt function, a telescopic function, and a retreat function of a steering column 32 supported on a device frame 1. A tilt support plate 4 swinging with respect to the device frame 1, a tilt bracket 2 swinging with respect to the tilt support plate 4, and a column bracket 3 of the steering column 32, which moves up and down with respect to the tilt bracket 2, are connected by a fastening bolt 5 and a fastening nut 6. A hook lever 7 attached pivotally to the device frame 1 can be freely engaged with and disengage from a hook pin protruding from the tilt support plate 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
