Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase design freedom on the layout of a brake lever and a column lower bracket by constituting to prevent backward movement of a steering column even if hit by the brake lever.
SOLUTION: A column lower bracket 3 is provided with a column holding part 31 for holding a steering column 2, and projecting parts 33, 33 positioned on the right and left side in the cross direction of a body to the column holding part 31 and connected to a column holding frame on the body side. The respective projecting parts 33 have through holes 32a at the respective right and left ends and are connected to the column holding frame on the body side by bolts passing through the through holes 32a. The right side projecting part 33 positioned behind a brake lever 1 has an open groove 32a formed to pass through backward from the through hole 32a.
