The steering control apparatus for the vehicle includes: a turning device for turning a steering control wheel according to a steering state of a steering wheel steered by the driver; and a reaction-force giving device for giving a steering reaction force to the steering wheel. When the apparatus detects the state that the steering operation which is not intended by the driver occurs, the steering reaction force is given so that a variation of a steering angle is controlled.
