Title:
STEERING CONTROL SKI SUSPENSION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0338486
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve a small radius turning ability by providing a cushion stroke regulation means to a ski cushion for maintaining a ski turning angle formed on the rear side of a steering control ski at less than 90°.

CONSTITUTION: For maintaining a ski turning angle on the rear side of a steering control ski 1 formed by a lateral width center line and a steering axis of the steering control ski 1 at less than 90°, a cushion stroke regulation means is provided to a ski cushion 23. In this constitution, when a bank angle becomes large at the time of turning, the ski cushion 23 is elongated, and at a set angle around 90° and less than 90°, the elongation of the ski cushion 23 is regulated by the cushion stroke regulation means. It is therefore prohibited from elongating further, and the ski turning angle is maintained at less than 90°, making turning possible by the trail effect.
