Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a vehicle to which a side-clutch/hand-brake type steering control system is applied to always turn with a predetermined turning radius irrespective of the change of a road surface condition.SOLUTION: The steering control system configured by providing a side clutch 6 and a hand brake 7 in a pair of drive trains 3L and 3R for distributing motive forces to left and right travel gears includes an auxiliary clutch electronic control actuator having an auxiliary clutch interposed to transmit torque between the pair of drive trains and configured to freely adjust the bonding force of the auxiliary clutch, and a controller for controlling the actuator so as to adjust the auxiliary clutch to a desired bonding force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
