Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control device that can suppress deterioration in a steering feeling.SOLUTION: An ECU 6 comprises an abnormality determining portion 74 that determines presence or absence of abnormality where torque variation occurs repeatedly when a nut rotation angle θn is within a specific steering range. The ECU 6 also comprises a current command value calculating portion 71 which has a basic assist calculating portion 81 that calculates a basic assist current Ib of assist force to be generated in a motor 21 on the basis of steering torque T, and a compensation assist calculating portion 82 that calculates a compensation assist current Ic based on the torque variation, and when the abnormality determining portion 74 determines presence of abnormality, calculates a q-axis current command value Iq* by correcting the basic assist current Ib on the basis of the compensation assist current Ic when the nut rotation angle θn is within the specific steering range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
