Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the projecting out of a trailer when traveling bendingly by setting front wheels to be the same angle as the angle of a draw bar while setting the rear wheels to make a certain angle to the angle of said draw bar. CONSTITUTION:A steering arm 9 and a cylinder 10 are provided on each of the front wheels 7 and rear wheels 8 of a trailer 15. The front wheels 7 and the rear wheels 8 are steered by the operation of the cylinders 10. The front wheels 7 are set to the same angle as the angle of a draw bar 11, while the rear wheels 8 are set to an angle obtained by judging increase or decrease in the angle of the draw bar and multiplying the angle of the draw bar by a certain value which varies with the vehicle. Said certain value to be multiplied by the angle of the draw bar is set by obtaining the optimum value based on a wheel base and the minimum radius of rotation.
