Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a steering operation to be achieved both manually and automatically by constituting a link with its turning motion capability by means of an actuator and connecting the actuator to its control circuit so as to drive the actuator in an automatic mode so that a side clutch wire may be placed in its pulling operation.
SOLUTION: When an automatic mode is set, owning to the turning motion of a drive motor 31R, an arm 33R, a connection link 34R and a swinging link 35R make turning motion so that a receiving body 37R may move forward. The receiving body 37R makes contact with a stopper 42 so as to pull a side clutch wire 26R forward. A side clutch arm 25R pivotally connected to the rear end of the side clutch wire 26R makes turning motion so that the side clutch may be disengaged so as to cut out transmission of the power of the right side vehicle shaft, resulting in its right turn without driving of the vehicle shaft. Furthermore, when the drive motor 31R is driven to pull the side clutch wire 26R forward, a side brake is operated to enable any quick turn. Then, turning to the left side is also practiced in the same way.
