PURPOSE: To improve steering performance by a method wherein a handle shaft is inclined in a longitudinal direction to vary a forward state to a reversing state, and a reversing direction is controlled by rotating a handle in the state that the handle shaft is left inclined.

CONSTITUTION: Since, when a handle 5 is steered, for example, to the right and control arm 7 mounted to a handle shaft 6 is rotated rightwardly, a direction radar 11 is rotated leftwardly through a communicating cable 10. As a result, since an air flow for propulsion generated with the aid of a fan 3 and flowing through a duct 4 is regulated by means of a direction radar 11 to flow rightwardly, a boat body 1 having a skirt 2 is turned rightwardly. Meanwhile, by pulling the handle 5 rearwardly along a guide plate 9, the direction radar 11 closes the rear end of the duct 4 in a way to bring the front ends of the direction radars into contact with each other. As a result, since a propulsive air flow is forced to flow frontwardly, the boat body 1 is reversed. By laterally steering the handle 5 in a reversing state, the boat body 2 is laterally reversed.
