A steering device for a surfboard 2 includes a steering unit 3; a driving unit 4; and a transmission unit 5. The steering unit 3 can operate for controlling the action of the surfboard 2. The driving unit 4 includes a base 41 fixed to a board body 21 of the surfboard 2, a coupling member 42 disposed on the base 41 to rotate, and a driving arm 44 equipped with a handle 46. The driving arm 44 can rotate actually without twisting, is connected to the coupling member 42, and extended outward from the base 41. By rotating the driving arm 44, the coupling member 42 is driven to rotate, so that the operation of the steering unit 3 is driven through the transmission unit 5.
