To provide a steering device for a vehicle capable of being simplified in constitution without impairing anti-theft performance.

The steering device for the vehicle is equipped with a steering angle sensing part 21, a reaction force mechanism 31, and a steering control part 41 for the vehicle which are installed removably from the vehicle. These parts 21, 31 and 41 for controlling steering angles of the vehicle wheels operated by a steering wheel 11 can be removed from the vehicle. In a state that they 21, 31 and 41 are removed from the vehicle, it is not possible to steer the vehicle wheels operated by the steering wheel 11. Accordingly the operation of the steering wheel can be made invalid by carrying these three parts 21, 31 and 41.
