Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a vehicle, which has a steer-by-wire function causing no uncomfortable feeling in a driver even if a clutch mechanism is erroneously connected.SOLUTION: A mode setting part of an ECU controls a turning angle so that the same becomes a turning angle based on a steering angle detected by a steering angle sensor 7e. The mode setting part, when a vehicle is started, controls a steering angle ratio so that the same becomes a steering angle ratio R that is equal to or less than a ratio of a turning angle to a steering angle (mechanical steering angle ratio) when a handle side 12 is connected to a turning mechanism 44 side by a clutch mechanism 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
