Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a water jet propeller which can set ship steering force properly and is favorable for complicate steering which includes many manoeuvre factors such as arrival and leave.
SOLUTION: At least a pair of main propellers 5, 6 having a reverser mechanism which controls front and rear propulsion force and a deflector mechanism which controls a deflector angle and a pair of auxiliary propellers 7, 8 having a reverser mechanism are arranged on port and starboard sides of a stern part to constitute a water jet propulsion ship having four shafts. Front and rear propulsion force of the main propellers 5, 6 and a deflector angle are controlled by one joy stick 1, and front and rear propulsion force of the auxiliary propellers 7, 8 is controlled independently and separately by a turning round dial 2.
