Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the construction for steering operation, by steering front and rear right wheels interlockingly about respective vertical axes in counter directions, and similarly steering front and rear left wheels. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle body is provided with four wheels W1a, W1b, W2a and W2b. The wheels are rotatably supported by king pins 10a, 10b, 20a and 20b, and are connected through connecting members 17a, 17b, 27a and 27b, levers 14a, 14b, 24a and 24b and connecting members 19a, 19b, 29a and 29b to levers 32 and 42. The levers 32 and 42 are fixed to shafts 31 and 41, and the shafts 31 and 41 are connected through reducing gears R1 and R2 to motors M1 and M2. When the motors are rotated, the wheels are rotated through the levers and the connecting members, and are steered about the king pins.
