Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device with a variable transmission ratio enhancing durability and hardly generating a noise.
SOLUTION: In the steering device 1 for varying the transmission ratio of a steering angle and a steering angle, a motor 4 has a motor housing body 10a; a stator fixed to the motor housing body 10a; and a rotor 14 rotated/driven by the stator 12 and axially projecting a motor shaft 13 to both ends; and a motor end plate 10b for hiding an opening of the motor housing body 10a. The motor housing body 10a made of a metal is press-fitted to a housing 7 made of a metal.
