To provide a steering device which prevents vibration of a steered wheel from being transmitted to a steering member, and does not adversely affect on traveling performance of a vehicle without worrying about a layout design in the vicinity of the steered wheel.
The steering device is equipped with a tie-rod 7, which is supported on a cylindrical housing 5, having one end part connected with a steered shaft 4 moving in the longitudinal direction of the housing 5 according to the steering, and another end part connected with the steered wheel. A vibration isolator 8 preventing vibration from being transmitted is disposed on the one end part side of the tie-rod 7. The vibration isolator 8 is equipped with a male part, a female part fitted into the male part, and an elastic part interposed between the male part and the female part. Besides, the steering device is equipped with a cylindrical telescopic cover 6, and the telescopic cover 6 has one end part externally fixed to the end part of the housing 5, and another end part externally fixed from the vibration isolator 8 to the steered wheel side of the tie-rod 7.
