Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a steering device which reduces an impact and a friction due to contact of members at the time of tilt-telescopic adjustment and a collision noise generated at the time of the impact and the friction, and can obtain excellent operation feeling.CONSTITUTION: A steering device includes: a column pipe 6; an outer column A; a fixed bracket 4; a hanger bracket 7 fixed onto the column pipe 6; an energizing member 9 which elastically energizes the column pipe 6 to the upper part; a fastening tool 5; a slide side portion 81 which is formed of a synthetic resin and is provided with a cushioning projection 82 and a bolt shaft hole 84; and a guide member 8 having a slide bottom 83 formed on the lower end of the slide portion 81. In the hanger bracket 7, the cushioning projection 82 of the guide member 8 is inserted into a telescope long hole 73, the slide bottom 83 comes in contact with the lower end of the hanger bracket 7, and a part of the energizing member 9 comes in contact with the slide bottom 83.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
