Abstract:
To provide a new steering device that is able to improve steerability as well as separately quickly apply steering assist force to each wheel.SOLUTION: A first electric steering mechanism 16L is provided with a first motor actuator 20L and a second electric steering mechanism 16R is provided with a second motor actuator 20R, and these are separately controlled by control devices 22L and 22R. By differently controlling first electric steering mechanism 16L and the second electric steering mechanism 16R, arbitrary steering controllability can be provided, making it possible to improve steerability. In addition, since steering assist force is applied by the motor actuator 20L, 20R, response is quick and the steering controllability mentioned above can be further improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
