Abstract:
To provide a steering device which can inhibit rotation of a drive side rotary member when a steering shaft is restricted from moving in an axial direction.SOLUTION: A brake part 100 includes a shaft part 101, a moving part 102, a connection part 103, bearings 104, 105, and a brake part housing 110. The shaft part 101 is connected to a rotary shaft 21a of a motor 21 through the connection part 103 so as to be rotatable integrally therewith. The shaft part 101 is disposed at an inner periphery of the moving part 102. The moving part 102 converts rotation of the shaft part 101 into axial movement of itself. When a rack shaft 12 is restricted from moving in an axial direction, the moving part 102 contacts with contact parts 114, 115.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
