Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device which enables a switch gear to be easily removed without impairing an anti-theft function that disables an unauthorized lock releasing action from the exterior.SOLUTION: A steering lock device 10 includes: a lock body 11 having an opening part 11c where a first internal space 11a formed in an axial direction and a second internal space 11b formed in a direction intersecting with the axial direction communicate with each other; a key rotor 23 which is housed in the first internal space and may rotate around an axis; a lock stopper 32 which may move in the second internal space; a cam shaft 33 which converts rotary motion of the key rotor into linear motion of the lock stopper; a lock bar 31 where a base end part is held by the lock stopper and a tip part may engage with or disengage from a column shaft of a vehicle; and a switch holder 41 where one side is undetachably fixed to the opening part of the lock body and the other side detachably holds a switch device 43.
