Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering operation mechanism capable of prolonging a service life of a friction plate of a side brake by resolving a high-temperature state due to accumulation of lubricant.SOLUTION: In a steering operation mechanism, a cylindrical slide body formed integrally with a side gear is externally fitted in a slidable manner to a steering operation shaft horizontally laid in an oil bath lubrication type mission case, a multi-plate type side brake is disposed on the outer periphery of the slide body, a slide operation of the slide body and a braking control of the side brake are in conjunction with each other, and intermittent operation of power is enabled. In the slide body and the slide brake, a slide body oil circulation passage and a brake oil circulation passage in which lubricant circulates in a radial direction of the steering operation shaft are formed, respectively, and the oil circulation passages are communicated with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
