Abstract:
To provide a steering reaction force generator capable of suppressing and stably controlling noise.SOLUTION: A steering reaction force generator 10 includes an axial gap type electric motor 30 that is coaxial with the turning axis of a steering wheel 2, and a traction speed reducer 20 that is coaxial with the turning axis and interposed between the steering wheel 2 and axial gap type electric motor 30. The axial gap type electric motor 30 includes a motor housing 31 and excitation coil 42. The axial gap type electric motor further includes a motor stator 40 fixed to the motor housing 31, a motor rotor 50 that is opposed to the motor stator 40 in the direction of the turning axis with a gap between them and turns about the turning axis according to an excitation condition of the excitation coil 42, and a shaft 32 that is coupled to the motor rotor 50 and turns about the turning axis while being interlocked with the motor rotor 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
