PURPOSE: To provide a structure around a steering stem capable of improving the reaction force against the external force and the buffering function of vibration when the rigidity of each bridge is increased.

CONSTITUTION: A stem pipe 2 is rotatably supported in a head pipe 1 cylindrically formed at the tip section of a frame. A top bridge and a bottom bridge 5 supporting a front fork are connected to the upper end section and the lower end section of the stem pipe 2. A spherical bearing 7 is provided between the stem pipe 2 and the bottom bridge 5. A spherical body 15 constituting the spherical bearing 7 is fixed to the lower end section of the stem pipe 2. A holder 16 slidably holding the spherical body 15 is fixed to the bottom bridge 5.
