This steering switch 2 is arranged on a side wall of the pad part of a steering wheel of an automobile. The steering switch 2 has a knob 6 having the operation part 6c operated in the obliquely upward direction. The steering switch 2 has a plate 13 fixed to the pad part. In the plate 13, a vertical plate fixed to the pad part and a horizontal plate for arranging a base board 12 are integrally molded. In the plate 13, a through hole is formed in the part for arranging the base board 12 of the horizontal plate. In the base board 12, a fixed contact point 11 contacting with a movable contact point 10 actuated by a knob 4 arranged on the upper side of the base board 12 is arranged on the upper surface, and a fixed contact point 16 contacting with a movable contact point 15 actuated by the knob 6 is arranged on the under surface.
