Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make steering operation so easy by installing each brake separately in individual hydraulic motors driving each drive wheel of two crawler type travel devices left and right, and linking operating members of respective brakes to be operated by turning operation of a handwheel. CONSTITUTION:Each crawler type travel device 2 installed at the symmetrical both sides of the bottom side of a car body is constituted of wrapping an endless crawler 25 on front and rear sprockets 21, 22 and lower rollers 24 and 23. In this case, each output shaft of hydraulic motors M1, M2 supplied with oil pressure from a hydraulic device is connected to each turning shaft of symmetrical front sprockets 21. In addition, brakes B1, B2 are assembled in the turning shafts of these hydraulic motors M1, M2. Then, a turning shaft of a handwheel is interlocked with the operating members C1, C2 via linkage or the like so as to cause the operating members C1, C2 operating these brakes B1, B2 to be operated by turning operation of the round handwheel installed in and around a control seat.
