Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the lane follow-up device of a vehicle to be used at high vehicle speed.
SOLUTION: This steering system is provided with a steering transmission system 2 connecting a steering wheel 1 to a steered wheel 3, a servo motor 13 connected to the steering transmission system 2, a first control part 8 provided on the steering transmission system 2 and belonged to the steering wheel side part 10, a second control part 9 belonged to the steered wheel side of the steering transmission system 2, a servo valve 7 operating the servo motor 13 according to relative displacement of both control part 8, 9, an operating device 24 connected to the steering wheel side part 10 of the steering transmission system 2 and used for generating steering force, and a regulating/control device 22 searching for a steering angle target value capable of following to a lane by a sensor device, searching for a steering angle actual value by steering angle measuring sensors 28, 30, and operating the operating device 24 according to comparison of the target steering angle with the actual steering angle. The steering angle sensors 28, 30 cooperatedly function with the steered wheel side part 11 of the steering transmission system 2.
