To provide a steering system for a vehicle for improving the usefulness of a vehicle having a single front wheel and right and left wheels disposed further rearward of the vehicle than the front wheel.
The steering system for a vehicle includes (A) a front wheel holder for rotatably holding the front wheel 12F, (B) a steering shaft 56 which extends in the vertical direction, is fixed to the front wheel holder at the lower end, and is supported on a vehicle body 46 at a supported part 52 provided further to the upper side than the lower end, (C) a front wheel steering device 54 for steering the front wheel 12F by rotating the steering shaft 56 about the axis thereof, and (D) a front wheel position change device 80 for changing the position of the front wheel 12F relative to the vehicle body in plan view by moving the steering shaft 56 about the supported part 52. The vehicle can be prevented from being turned over by moving the front wheel 12F to the turning outer side and tilting the front wheel 12F so that the upper side thereof is moved to the turning inner side when the vehicle is turned.
