Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate accurately a steering vector of each object signal.SOLUTION: An observation signal vector calculation unit 10 calculates M observation signal vectors (where M is an integer equal to or greater than 2) which are M-dimensional vectors consisting of time-frequency components of observed signals acquired at different positions respectively in a state where N target signals (where N is an integer equal to or larger than 1) and noise are mixed. A covariance matrix estimating unit 30 estimates N first covariance matrices corresponding to each of the target signals and a second covariance matrix corresponding to noise for each frequency based on the observation signal vector. A generalized eigenvalue analysis unit 40 estimates the steering vector for each of the target signals based on the vector obtained by multiplying the eigenvector corresponding to the maximum eigenvalue of the generalized eigenvalue problem defined by the first covariance matrices and the second covariance matrices by the second covariance matrices.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
