The airbag device 10 is installed at a front surface side of a steering base 2 at a center of the steering wheel 1 and a cover 70 is arranged at the periphery of the airbag device 10. The cover 70 has a main plate part 71 covered on a peripheral edge part of an opposed surface to an occupant of a module cover 50; and leg piece parts 72L, 72R, 72D standingly provided from a back surface of the main plate part 71 to the steering wheel 1 side. The respective leg piece parts 72L, 72R, 72D are fixed to a base plate connected to the steering base 2. In the non-pressing state of the module cover, an inner peripheral edge of the main plate part 71 is abutted on the opposed surface to the occupant of the module cover 50 over the whole periphery.
