Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a stencil paper for thermal screen printing excellent in running stability and image sharpness.

CONSTITUTION: Stencil paper for thermal screen printing is a composite consisting of a film composed of a thermoplastic resin and a fiber support having a reticulated structure formed by mutually bonding thermoplastic resin fibers at entangling points thereof. The tensile strength/elongation characteristic of the composite has a tensile strength/elongation curve wherein a film component and a fiber support component are synthesized in a tensile strength/ elongation test and the elongation thereof at the time of the max. tensile strength is set to 20% or more.
