Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printer capable of feeding a sheet to a nip part in an appropriate state, even if an air blowing mechanism is used in order to detach the sheet from a plate cylinder.SOLUTION: A stencil printer 10 includes: a plate cylinder (13a) which is rotatably driven with stencil base paper (18) attached to an outer periphery; a press roller 13f movable between a pressing position where the press roller is pressed against the plate cylinder and forms a nip part 13g, and a retracting position separated from the plate cylinder; a feed mechanism (14e, 14f, 31, 32) for feeding a sheet P toward the nip part 13g with rotation of the plate cylinder; an air blowing mechanism (19) for blowing air onto the nip part 13g from a downstream side in a rotation direction of the plate cylinder; and a lower side movable guide plate 33 and an upper side movable guide plate 34 disposed so as to be parallel to and near to each other, in order to guide the sheet P fed by the feed mechanism to the nip part 13g. The lower side movable guide plate 33 and the upper side movable guide plate 34 are displaced with the displacement of the press roller 13f.
