Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printing apparatus that can tear off stencil paper from a drum without trouble in the device caused by a splash member.SOLUTION: A drum control section of the stencil printing apparatus comprises: a clamp plate 46 that can displace an upstream end portion GT in a rotation direction of a drum of stencil paper G between a closed position for holding the upstream end portion together with a first drum and an opened position for releasing the upstream end portion GT from the first drum. The drum control section displaces the clamp plate 46 to the opened position while rotating the first drum so as to operate plate discharging. During the operation of plate discharging, the drum control section decelerates rotation speed of the first drum when the clamp plate 46 is displaced to the opened position.
