To provide a stent placed at a bend part by suppressing deformation to be less than a fixed curvature radius while securing flexibility.
A plurality of cells 1 and links 2 are alternately arranged in a two-dimensional mesh shape and formed into a cylindrical shape to form the stent. The cell 1 is composed of a cell column not to be practically deformed when it is bent, and the link 2 is composed of a link column of a broken line shape or a wavy line shape and is connected to the cell 1 at both ends. An interference rod 3 is disposed apart from the link 2, in the shape to the free end of the interference rod 3 within a plane in the direction of deformation when the link 2 is extended and contracted, the interval of the interference rod 3 and the link 2 is sufficient for the link 2 to be extended, contracted and deformed in order to give flexibility to the stent, and the interference rod 3 has bending stiffness for suppressing the further deformation of the link in the stage that the link is extended, contracted and deformed by the bend of the stent and is abutted on the interference rod.
