PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent indwelling apparatus preventing crush of a lumen of a pliable tube stent in an indwelling process of the tube stent and easily passing a sharply curved portion with large curvature.SOLUTION: A guide catheter 2 of a stent indwelling apparatus 1 includes: a core part 3 that is longer than the whole axial length of a tube stent 100 and has flexibility; an outer layer part 6 that has a tubular shape enclosing the outer periphery of the core part 3 and is fixed to the core part 3; a stent protection part 8 that is disposed between the core part 3 and the outer layer part 6, is longer than the whole axial length of the tube stent 100, when being viewed from the longitudinal axis O1, has an annular shape with a longitudinal axis O1 defined as a center, has rigidity against radially inward compression orthogonally to the longitudinal axis O1 and pliableness in the bending direction of the longitudinal axis O1; and a protrusion 7 that allows extension of the stent protection part 8 in the direction of the longitudinal axis O1 and serves as a stopper to regulate movement of the stent protection part 8 with respect to the core part 3 in the direction of the longitudinal axis O1.
