Abstract:
To provide a stent for intracranial blood vessel treatment which can be safely detained in an intracranial artery and improves visibility under X-ray radiography without raising a biological reaction within a blood vessel caused by galvanic corrosion or the like.
In the stent for intracranial blood vessel treatment provided with a plurality of main struts and a plurality of link struts as components, the stent is composed of a single material with higher X-ray non-transmissivity than stainless steel, the width of the main struts and of the link struts is ≥100 μm and ≤200 μm, and the thickness of the main struts and of the link struts is ≥50 μm and ≤100 μm.
