To provide a stent that can be reduced in diameter when compressed, has excellent deformability after placed in a target lesion site, and is not likely to reduce stent length when expanded, and a stent delivery system having the stent.

The stent 1 includes a plurality of annular bodies 2. Each annular body includes a plurality of one-end side bent parts 4 and a plurality of other end side bent parts 5. The stent 1 includes linear annular body connection parts 3 extending in substantially parallel with a center axis. Each annular body 2 includes the one-end side bent parts 4, the other end side bent parts 5, and a plurality of connection parts 6 for connecting the one-end side bent parts to the other end side bent parts. The linear annular body connection part 3 connects not the apexes of the bent parts 5 of the annular bodies 2 but the ends 8 of the bent parts.
