Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent or a stent having graft which can be easily inserted even in a catheter of a small diameter, can extremely smoothly transfer from a contracted diameter to an expanded diameter, becomes a cylindrical basket-form under either state of a contracted diameter or an expanded diameter, has a larger supporting force under a state of an expanded diameter, does not generate a kink against a bending, by which the insertion and the introduction into a catheter, and a re-adjustment at an indwelling spot can be easily performed, and also, wherein there is no fear that hand may be hurt at the time of insertion into a catheter, or an internal cavity may be hurt at the time of leading out from a catheter, and even those having an optional diameter and an optional length, those having a variable diameter, bifurcal and furcal ones, and those having a bellows-type structure can be industrially mass-produced. SOLUTION: This stent 1 is formed into a cylindrical basket-form braided string structure for which a specified number of wires are twist-braided into a sine curve- shape, and both terminal ends of the cylindrical basket-form braided string structure are formed into a loop structure by folding back or bonding the wires, and as an overall body, respective wires become an endless loop without terminal ends.
