Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to advance and retreat a step in interlocking with opening/ closing of a slide door by installing the step in retreatable ways onto a roller supporting part in the lower part of the slide door and installing a step operating member having an inclined cam surface onto the roller supporting part in the lower part and installing a roller engaged with the inclined cam surface onto the slide door. CONSTITUTION:A lower roller 3 which performs opening/closing slide operation for a slide door 3 and a guide roller 9 are arranged in rolling on a supporting member 5 installed onto a car body. A step 13 having a step surface 13a is installed onto the supporting member 5 in retreatable ways by a pair of links 15a and 16b, and a step operating member 11 having an inclined cam surface is installed onto the link 15a through a bracket 21. An engaging roller 12 which is attached onto the inclined cam surface is installed onto the slide door 3, and the step 13 can be automatically advanced and retreated, interlocked with opening/closing of the slide door 3, and the safe getting-on/off can be secured.
