Abstract:

To provide a step motor arrangement of small size and high precision by using a rotation detector composed of a drum and MR element.

In the step motor arrangement, a rotating shaft (2) of a step motor part (1) is attached with a drum (3). The N pole (4) and S pole (5) on the peripheral surface of the drum (3) are controlled for rotation with a step motor controller (8) using detection signal (7) acquired by detecting with the MR element (6).
