Abstract:
PURPOSE: To detect a full-close position of a step motor so accurately on the basis of the current step position and this compensation value at a time when the current step position of the step motor at the time of operation starting of a microprocessing unit is less than the specified value but only the compensation value when it is more than the specified value, respectively.
CONSTITUTION: The current step position of a step motor 15, driving a throttle valve of an internal combustion engine and a fact that whether this current step position is more than the specified value or not are detected by a means 11 respectively. At a control unit 12, a request step position of the step motor 15 is controlled by a microprocessing unit 13 on the basis of a detection output of the means 11. In addition, a compensation value of the step position is stored by a nonvolatile memory 14. At this time, when the current step position at a point of starting the operation of the microprocessing unit 13 is less than the specified value, a full-close position of the step motor 15 is found out on the basis of the current step position and this compensation value. On the other hand, when the current step position is more than the specified value, the full- close position is found out on the basis of only the compensation value.
