Abstract:
To reliably protect the steps of an escalator when the steps of the escalator are used as a path for carrying equipment and materials and the like, and make a protector inexpensive and easy to carry.
A belt shaped body 8 is set in as a step protector for an escalator, fastening members 9 are installed to the belt shaped body 8, and each fastening member 9 is hanged over the shaft 7 of the upper guide roller of each step, or the back face of each cleat 1 so as to be fixed thereto.
