Abstract:
To suppress an overshoot of an output voltage.SOLUTION: A current detection circuit 300 generates a current detection signal ISNS indicating a current IOUT flowing through a first PMOS transistor MP1. A load switch drive circuit 270E is configured to be switchable between a first mode and a second mode, and fully turns on the first PMOS transistor MP1 in the first mode. In the second mode, the load switch drive circuit 270E changes a gate voltage of the first PMOS transistor MP1 according to the current detection signal ISNS so that the first PMOS transistor MP1 has current supply capability IOUT(MAX) larger than a current amount IOUT(SNS) indicated by the current detection signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
