Title:
STEP-UP TRANSFORMER FOR DRIVING MANGETORON
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3468186
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a confused high voltage fault contact from a high voltage secondary winding to a primary winding in a step-up transformer for driving a magnetron.
SOLUTION: A confused discharge to a primary winding can be prevented by a construction such that a terminal 33 of the primary winding and terminals 34 and 36 of a secondary and tertiary windings are arranged facing each other across a magnetic body 31, a magnetic body earth terminal 36 is connected to a chassis earth, and if there should arise a condition where a creeping discharge is easy to take place in the direction of the terminal 33 of the primary winding due to deposition of dust or occurrence of dew condensation containing salt, fault contact is performed from the terminals 34 and 35 of the secondary and the tertiary winding to the magnetic body 31, and so current flows to the chassis earth connected to the magnetic body 31 through the magnetic earth terminal 36.
