Abstract:
PURPOSE:To hold a direction of input rotation and to make a direction of output rotation in either normal or reverse rotation possible by opposing a driving disk to a driven disk in parallel through a transmitting roller which is provided in an eccentric-circular or noncircular annular groove in the driven disk. CONSTITUTION:When an input shaft 6' is turned in a direction shown by an arrow A, a transmitting roller 62 is turned in a direction shown by an arrow B'' by a driving disk 60 which turns in the direction A, and a driven rotating body 57 and a rotating shaft 58 are turned in a direction shown by an arrow C''. Therefore, as the driven rotating body 57 turns, the transmitting roller 62 goes back to its initial position after shifting in an axial direction of the driving disk 60 being conducted by an annular groove 59 which is eccentric against an axis of the rotating shaft 58. The transmitting roller 62 further moves in a peripheral direction of the driving disk 60 and, again, goes back to the initial position, and it keeps on repeating such movement periodically. By this constitution, a speed of rotation of the rotating shaft 58 which is connected to an output shaft can be changed periodically.
