Title:
STEPLESSLY ADJUSTING HELICAL GUIDE MECHANISM FOR GEAR SHAPER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6239116
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve efficiency of production, by enabling a helical angle to be steplessly adjusted so that a helical gear of plural kinds can be machined with no necessity for performing rearrangements.

CONSTITUTION: A helical angle, determined when a made die performs a single movement, is corrected by optionally adjusting a stroke width of the first female die 16. If the stroke width of the first female die 16 is adjusted in such a manner that a rotary motion is negated by the male die 15, torsional rotation of a main spindle 11 as viewed from the side of a work becomes zero, and even a gear of 0° helical angle can be machined. If the stroke width of the first female die 16 is set to zero, a gear of helical angle, determined by a single lead of the male die 15, can be also machined. That is, an optional helical angle can be obtained by optionally setting the stroke width of the first female die 16.
