Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor that is less likely to generate energy loss even when miniaturized, and to provide a clock comprising the same.SOLUTION: A stepping motor comprises: a rotor 1; a stator 2 having a rotor housing hole 23 for housing the rotor 1, a pair of outside recessed parts 24 for deciding a magnetic flux saturation position, and an inside recessed part 25 provided on an inner lateral face of the rotor housing hole 23 and for deciding a stable static position of the rotor 1; and a coil block 3 configured by winding a coil 32 around a coil core 31 magnetically coupled with the stator 2. The outside recessed parts 24 are provided on an outer lateral face of the stator 2 and at opposed positions on both sides of the rotor housing hole 23. A line connecting between points where the outside recessed parts 24 and the rotor housing hole 23 are the closest to each other and passing through a circle center of the rotor housing hole 23 is arranged so as to be shifted by a predetermined angle from a line orthogonal to an extension direction of the stator 2 and passing through the circle center of the rotor housing hole 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
