Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor control apparatus capable of preventing loss of synchronism of a stepping motor caused by a sudden load and reducing power consumption, a sheet transfer device and a stepping motor control method.SOLUTION: The stepping motor control apparatus comprises a voltage detection circuit 56 for detecting an electromotive force Vr of a load applied to a stepping motor 64 being driven. The electromotive force Vr detected by the voltage detection circuit 56 is compared with a detection-time electromotive force Vrd which is predetermined for the stepping motor 64 and a setting-value electromotive force Vrc. In accordance with a result of the comparison, a current amount to be supplied to the stepping motor 64 is changed.
