Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably control a stepping motor while accelerating a rotational speed through advance angle control and drive waveform switching.SOLUTION: A stepping motor control device comprises: rotation detection means which outputs a detection signal in response to rotation of a stepping motor; and control means for outputting a drive signal of the stepping motor while switching between open loop control for switching an electrification state of a coil included in the stepping motor and feedback control for switching the electrification state of the coil based on output of the rotation detection means at predetermined time intervals. The control means is capable of switching a waveform of the drive signal between a rectangular wave and a sinusoidal wave and switches the waveform of the drive signal while the open loop control is performed, but does not switch the waveform of the drive signal while the feedback control is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
