Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 2-coil type step motor with which it is possible to detect the step rotation drive of a rotor with high accuracy in a 2-coil type step motor and save a drive current consumption.SOLUTION: When detecting the rotation of a rotor 101 in a 2-coil type step motor 100, two coils 103 are connected in parallel and the rotation of the rotor 101 is detected, whereby reverse currents occurring in the two coils 103 are added up and rotation detection is carried out. Due to that the reverse currents occurring from the coils 103 increase and the rotation of the rotor 101 can therefore be reliably detected, the handling of a needle can be achieved with pulses of the smallest possible energy corresponding to a load condition, and, hence, power consumption can be saved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
